Call for Abstracts: 6th annual Waypoint Research Institute conference

Waypoint logo The Call for Abstracts for the 6th annual Waypoint Research Institute Conference – now re-branded as Momentum: Research Realized – is open!

This conference focuses on health promotion, knowledge translation, implementation, and other emerging and inspiring research relevant to the mental health and addictions sector.

In particular, the conference organizers are looking for submissions that feature or discuss the needs of students and vulnerable or marginalized populations. It features research and practical learning opportunities for researchers, academics, students, leaders, policy-makers, clinicians, healthcare workers, public health, health promotion and knowledge translation professionals.

Date: May 14th, 2018 (pre-conference workshops), May 15th-16th, 2018 (conference programming)

Location: Holiday Inn Hotel & Conference Centre, Barrie, ON (approx. 1hr north of Toronto, GO Train accessible)

Keynote Speakers: Maureen Dobbins (McMaster University; HealthEvidence; NCCMT), and Andrew Szeto (University of Calgary; Mental Health Commission of Canada)
