Join focus groups on mental health court diversion in Toronto!

The Racialized Populations and Mental Health and Addictions Community of Interest is hosting four focus groups between February 13 and 21, 2018. The purpose of these focus groups is to:

  • explore the experiences of racialized individuals as they interact with mental health court support services in Toronto.
  • identify successes, gaps and barriers within the system and make recommendations for change.

We would like to hear from:

  • those who have received mental health diversion;
  • those who have been denied mental health;
  • mental health court support workers; and,
  • case managers.

Results from the Focus Group will be confidential and will be used to help inform services to better meet needs.

Persons with lived experience will receive honoraria for participating. Lunch is included in all sessions.
