A knowledge exchange event to capture effective ways to use the OCAN for quality improvement and enhancing client recovery.

The event will bring together people from a range of settings, including agencies, hospitals, Local Health Integration Networks (LHINs), and government to:

  • Learn how OCAN improves client recovery Identify effective practices for completing OCAN assessments and reassessments
  • Learn innovative training and quality assurance approaches to improve the quality of OCAN information
  • Develop recommendations for using OCAN reports to facilitate data-driven decision making

Target audience: Direct service staff, peer support workers, OCAN trainers, OCAN users (people with lived experience), managers, policymakers, and system planners. Service
providers who are not currently using OCAN are also encouraged to attend.

Participants will come away with a variety of tools and resources to help them use OCAN successfully in their practice, planning or policy work.
