Practicing collaborative and equitable partnerships and leadership

Are you looking for new tools to increase equity in your partnerships? Interested in learning how to promote collaborative leadership at your organization?

On June 16th, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm, join Health Nexus and the Ontario Public Health Association (OPHA) for a webinar to hear from community partners from the Collaborative Leadership in Practice (CLiP) project. These community leaders will share their on-the-ground experiences and Dr. Roberta Timothy will give a snapshot of the literature on collaborative leadership. We will also share two new templates ‘Partnership Involvement’ and ‘Equity Analysis of Group Membership’, currently being piloted, that can help strengthen your collaborative endeavours.

The CLiP project is being launched at this webinar and you will be the first to hear about our upcoming two-day learning institute entitled, “Intersectionality, Anti-Oppression and  Collaborative Leadership in Practice” to be held September 30th/October 1st, and regional events in Brantford and Ottawa. Together, we will be creating a community of change focused on:

  • Decentering power,
  • Sharing resources,
  • Applying anti-oppression frameworks,
  • Evaluating partnerships with an equity lens, and
  • Sharing stories.

There will also be a similar webinar in French on June 22nd, from 12:00 – 1:00 pm, featuring our Francophone partners.
