Seminar on mental health by Margaret Barry - with live webcast

The National Collaborating Centre for Healthy Public Policy (NCCHPP) invites you to take part in a seminar on promoting mental health for children and youth that will take place on September 13, 2017, from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. EST.

The INSPQ (Institut national de santé publique du Québec) and the NCCHPP join the Institut de recherche en santé publique de l'Université de Montréal (IRSPUM) in welcoming Margaret Barry, renowned expert in mental health promotion, head of the Chair in health Promotion and Public Health at the National University of Ireland Galway and head of the WHO Collaborating Centre for Health Promotion Research. She will discuss the necessary approaches for effectively acting on social determinants of mental health and promoting mental health and wellbeing for children and their families.

Professor Barry will present in English. Admission is free, with live webcasting, accessible at http://www.irspum.umontreal.ca/. The webcast will open 30 minutes before the seminar begins.
