About the course

This online introductory course will help learners to screen, assess and treat people with tobacco dependence using evidence-base pharmacotherapies and psycho-social interventions. Tools and techniques for enhancing motivation and facilitating cessation groups are also covered.

All learners will be provided with:

  • Comprehensive online course manual written by subject matter experts in tobacco cessation which can be used to inform and guide clinical practice.
  • Interactive online learning opportunities with expert faculty and peers.

Cost

Working within Ontario: $200 CDN | Out of Province: $350.00 CDN

Prerequisite

Ontario Tobacco Research Unit (OTRU) Online Course - Tobacco and Public Health: From Theory to Practice
Participants are required to complete the OTRU Online Course (tobaccocourse.otru.org) prior to beginning the Core Course
