Establishing a strategic direction for the provincial addictions services system

Description and objectives

An external consultant is currently performing a Manitoba addictions system analysis. This analysis includes stakeholder interviews with mental health, addictions and service recipients to assess Manitoba’s system needs.
Based on the systems review and analysis, recommendations for addressing challenges and gaps within the system will be developed and confirmed through further consultation with stakeholders and through comparisons with established models (Tiered Model, CCSA), and the partnership with CAMH to perform the needs based planning model in Manitoba; forming a five-year provincial addictions strategy.
