Jason Applebaum, owner of Responsible Gambling Services, has worked in the gaming industry for 12 years in progressive roles from Table Games Dealer to Manager. During his career, he became a problem gambler and decided to leave the industry to focus on his recovery and well-being. Since his departure, he has graduated with High Honours from the Social Service Worker Program at Seneca College and worked with Ontario Lottery and Gaming as a member of the Social Responsibility and Responsible Gambling Team. Hoping to educate and create awareness about problem gambling, he speaks about his experiences, his subsequent recovery and the lessons learned through his incredible journey.
