How to introduce the Ontario Common Assessment of Need to clients

On November 25, 2016, the Racialized Populations and Mental Health and Addictions Community of Interest (CoI) hosted a webinar titled, "How to Use OCAN with Racialized Individuals."

This webinar highlighted how you can:

  • Introduce the Ontario Common Assessment of Need (OCAN) to clients;
  • Explain privacy and confidentiality of the tool;
  • Use the OCAN as a guide for discussion, assessing needs, and set goals with racialized populations;
  • Explore how you can use OCAN for service planning to advance health equity.
